Jeff Hale – CEO
Jeff started his construction company, W.J. Hale Construction, Inc. in 1996. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Building Construction, Architecture and Environmental Design in 1977. Prior to starting his company, he worked on the Galleria Office Tower, a Gerald Hines project in Dallas, Texas, various Trammell Crow projects in the Washington DC area as well as quick build service station projects for Exxon Mobil and Texaco in Texas, Georgia and Florida. He also managed a construction management company for three years in Dallas. W.J. Hale Construction’s first major project was with Conoco Philips, Mid Pac Petroleum and Chevron Oil Company. Additionally, University of Hawaii, Alexander & Baldwin and Madison Industries were also added to its customer base.
Site / Civil Superintendent
Our Site/Civil Superintendent is a Journeyman Carpenter with over twenty five years experience in construction and project supervision. He is active in constructing commercial, civil works and residential projects. Before he joined W.J. Hale Construction, Inc, he worked as a consultant to general contractors and managed various large projects. He has earned a reputation for quality craftsmanship in Hawaii, providing both residential and commercial contracting services. Throughout his tenure he has obtained invaluable experience in supervising projects as well as renovation and design ideas. Being a perfectionist that he is, he consistently delivers the very best work, as well as the company he works for. He has supervised DOT bridge projects where precast concrete spanned from column to column. Site layout work included footing for 30 foot high retaining walls as well as major commercial renovations, upgrades and retrofits.
Interior Superintendent
Our Interior Superintendent is a highly accomplished finish carpenter with extensive hands-on experience in all stages of construction. A master carpenter who has worked in carpentry and construction for over 20 years, he possesses an intimate understanding of the details involved in running a successful project. His broad technical knowledge and high standards of work producing the finest quality. He is meticulous in the detail of each new project. His craftsmanship that he has developed during his 20 years experience is put into every project.
Building Superintendent
Our Building Superintendent has been in the construction business for over 30 years, with all types of projects including concrete tilt up wall panel, high rise and metal construction buildings. His experience and knowledge of construction adds assurance in completion of projects in a timely manner. Being a very “hands-on person”, he is well informed of the newest trends in construction.
